Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and People In Tech LLC ("Coachh", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Coachh you agree to them. Please read the health disclaimer in section 2; it matters.
1. Who can use Coachh
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your device secure. One person per account.
2. Health disclaimer
Coachh is a fitness and nutrition coaching tool, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian, physical therapist or other licensed professional.
Talk to a doctor before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, an injury, an eating disorder or history of one, or take medication. Stop exercising and seek care if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath.
In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. If you’re having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US.
Exercise carries a risk of injury. You choose what to do with Coachh’s suggestions and you take part voluntarily and at your own risk, to the fullest extent the law allows.
3. AI-generated content
Coachh’s replies, plans, timelines and calorie and nutrition numbers are generated by AI from what you share. They are estimates and opinions, they can be wrong, and they may not suit your circumstances. Use your judgment, and tell us about a bad reply with “Report this reply” in the app. Don’t rely on Coachh for decisions where an error could cause serious harm.
Coachh does not guarantee a weight, strength, recovery or other fitness outcome or the date it will happen. Food-photo portions and nutrition are estimates, not verified measurements; check ingredients and labels for your allergies and restrictions. Missing logs or unavailable Health data do not establish that an activity did not happen.
A suggested meal is not a logged meal, and a proposed workout or schedule is not a confirmed change. Review the app’s confirmation and actual saved result. Features can depend on your device, permissions, subscription and release availability; a preview on this website is an illustration, not a claim that every capability is enabled for every account.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Coachh is offered as a subscription, Coachh Pro. What it includes is shown in the app and may change; we’ll give notice before removing anything you’ve paid for.
- Pro is billed through your Apple ID (or, in the Android app, your Google Play account) at the price shown before purchase. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- If a free trial is offered, its eligibility, length, renewal price and cancellation terms are shown by the store before you agree. It converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel within the store’s stated deadline.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or on Android in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel a subscription.
- Coaching has allowances, shown in the app (for example, “This week’s coaching”). They are fair-use limits that keep Coachh running for everyone. Promotional and founding member allowances can differ from paid ones. We may change allowances; we’ll tell you in the app before a change applies to you.
- Offer codes are personal and non-transferable, have no cash value, and are void if sold, traded or obtained through channels we didn’t authorize. One per Apple Account (or Google account). We may limit coaching for accounts that abuse offers, for example by using several accounts to get repeated free periods, or that automate requests. The founding member offer has its own terms at coachh.app/founding/terms.
- Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play under their policies. If you ask Apple for a refund, we may share information about your use of Coachh, for example how much of the subscription you used, with Apple to help it decide.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Coachh: no breaking the law, reverse engineering or scraping, overloading the service, trying to get around usage limits, using it to produce harmful content, or sharing an account. We may apply fair-use limits to AI features to keep the service running for everyone.
6. Your content
You own what you log and send. You give us a limited license to store, process and transmit it (including to our AI providers, as described in the Privacy Policy) only to run and improve Coachh for you. If you send feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
7. Our content
Coachh, its design, software and content belong to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for yourself. Other companies’ names mentioned on our website are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe and compare; they don’t endorse Coachh.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect Coachh or others. Sections 2, 3 and 9 through 12 survive.
9. Disclaimers
COACHH IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WE DON’T PROMISE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT, WEIGHT LOSS OR FITNESS OUTCOME.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WON’T BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM EXERCISE OR NUTRITION CHOICES YOU MAKE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they apply only as far as your local law permits.
11. Indemnity
If you misuse Coachh or break these terms and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses, to the extent the law allows.
12. Disputes
Most concerns can be sorted out quickly: email hello@peopleintech.io first and give us 30 days to try. If we can’t resolve it, you and we agree to resolve disputes by individual binding arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and we waive any right to a jury trial or to take part in a class action. You can opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these terms. If you live in the EU or UK, you keep the protections of your local consumer law and can bring claims in your local courts.
13. App Store and Google Play terms
If you got Coachh from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple isn’t responsible for claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims; we are, as set out in these terms. You confirm you aren’t in a US-embargoed country or on a US government restricted list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also follow the App Store’s Usage Rules.
If you get Coachh from Google Play (the Android app is in testing now): these terms are between you and us, not Google, and Google Play’s own terms also apply to your download and to purchases billed through Google Play.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. For significant changes we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect; continuing to use Coachh after that means you accept them. Questions: hello@peopleintech.io.
