Apple Watch
How to start today’s workout on your Apple Watch, log sets from your wrist, and log water, weight and check-ins on the Watch.
Updated
With Coachh on your Apple Watch, you can run today’s session from your wrist while your iPhone stays in step: the same set and the same rest timer, both ways. Your heart rate shows on the phone, and one workout goes to Apple Health.
On iPhone
- Install Coachh on your Watch from the Watch app on your iPhone, and open Coachh on the iPhone once.
- On Today, tap Start on Apple Watch (in the player, it’s the watch button on the first page). Coachh opens on the Watch, already recording.
- Turn the Digital Crown for the weight, set the reps and tap Done (a double tap works too). Rate the set Easy, Good or Hard; use +15 s or Skip on the rest.
- Swipe left for End, Pause and Skip set.
You can also start on the Watch, from the Start button on its first page. Its other pages log walks, weight, water and notes with Tell Coachh.
On Android
Coachh for Android launches in November 2026. These are the steps for the Android app once it’s out.
There isn’t a Coachh watch app on Android yet. Workouts and walks your watch records still count through Health Connect.
Good to know
- If the Watch and iPhone lose each other mid-workout, both keep going and catch up when they reconnect. Nothing is logged twice.
- Add the Streak, Today or Steps complication to a watch face.
- Not syncing? Keep Bluetooth on, open Coachh on your iPhone, and check the Watch app is installed. Logs made on the Watch sync when the phone is in reach.
