Calorie and protein targets
Where your daily calorie, protein, carb, fat and fiber targets come from, and how to set your own or go back to the suggested ones.
Updated
Coachh suggests daily targets from your weight, height, age, how many days you train and your goal, and they follow your weight as it changes. If you have numbers of your own, say from a dietitian, you can use those instead.
On iPhone
- Open Menu › Today and tap the Food today card.
- In Daily targets, set Calories, Protein, Carbs, Fat and Fiber, then tap Save.
- To go back to Coachh’s suggestions, open it again and tap Use suggested targets.
On Android
Coachh for Android launches in November 2026. These are the steps for the Android app once it’s out.
- Open Menu › Today and tap the Food today card.
- Set your targets in Daily targets and tap Save, or tap Use suggested targets.
Good to know
- Your own targets are saved with your account, so a new phone has them too.
- The chat can’t change targets yet, but the coach sees them, along with what’s left today.
- Your protein target is also shown in Settings › Goal. Saving a new goal weight there updates the suggested protein target.
- What’s left today shows on the Food today card, in the food journal and on the Left today widget (on Android, Calories and protein left).
- Targets are estimates to steer by, not rules. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or take medication, check them with your doctor.
- How the numbers are worked out: where the numbers come from.
