Settings and units

Where Settings is, and how to switch between pounds and kilograms, set your coaching style and reply length, and pick light or dark.

Updated

Settings holds your profile, goal, training days, units, reminders and more. Most of your choices, like units, coaching style and reply length, are saved with your account, so a new phone picks them up.

In the chat

Say “switch to kilograms” or “back to pounds” to change units, and “keep replies short” or “more detail” to change how long the coach’s replies are. Coachh saves these as things it remembers, so they don’t work while memory is paused.

On iPhone

  1. Tap Menu (top left), then your name (or Profile) at the bottom of the menu. That opens Settings.
  2. Under Training, set Weights in to Pounds or Kilograms.
  3. Coaching style sets how much a workout spells out: Walk me through it, Key points or Just the plan.
  4. Reply length sets how long the coach’s replies are: Short, Standard or Detailed.
  5. Appearance & feel has Dark, Light or System, plus Haptics and Celebrations.

On Android

Coachh for Android launches in November 2026. These are the steps for the Android app once it’s out.

  1. Tap Menu (top left), then your name (or Profile) at the bottom of the menu to open Settings.
  2. Under Training, pick Pounds or Kilograms.
  3. Coaching style, Reply length and Appearance & feel work as on iPhone, as a list you pick from.
