Short on time
How to fit today’s workout into 15, 20, 30 or 45 minutes, keeping the main lift, and how a short session still counts.
Updated
A short session beats no session. Coachh can fit today’s workout to the time you have: it keeps the main lift, trims the rest and tells you what it changed.
In the chat
Say “I only have 20 minutes today” or “something quick”. The 15-minute version puts the main lift first with a short warm-up. To go back, say “do the full session”.
On iPhone
- Open Menu › Today and, on today’s plan, tap Short on time?
- Under Fit today’s session to…, pick 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
- Or start the workout and, on the first page, pick a time under Short on time? Tap Full session to undo.
On Android
Coachh for Android launches in November 2026. These are the steps for the Android app once it’s out.
- Open Menu › Today, tap Short on time? and pick a time.
- Or pick one of the times on the workout’s first page, before you log a set. Full session puts it back.
Good to know
- 15 minutes means 15 minutes, warm-up included.
- Heavy lifts keep their proper rest. Coachh never rushes them in a circuit.
- A short session counts as showing up: it keeps your streak and counts as done in your plan, noted as short.
- The time only changes today. To train less every week, change your plan.
