Fix or delete a meal
How to correct a logged meal, change its portion or items, move it to another meal or time, or delete it, in the chat or by tapping it.
Updated
Estimates won’t always be right, and fixing one takes a few words or a few taps. When you fix a food’s numbers, Coachh uses yours for it next time.
In the chat
Right after logging, say what was different: “actually it was 2 eggs, not 3”, “I only ate half”, “it was cooked in butter”. Coachh fixes that meal instead of logging another.
On iPhone
- Tap the meal card in the chat, or Adjust. For an older meal, open Menu › Food, pick the day and tap the meal.
- In Edit meal, change the description, Meal or Time, or pick a portion under How much of it you ate, like ½×.
- Tap an item to change its portion or weight, or Fix name and numbers. Swipe an item to Remove it, or add one.
- Tap Save. Or tap Tell Coachh what’s wrong and describe it.
Delete meal at the bottom removes it.
On Android
Coachh for Android launches in November 2026. These are the steps for the Android app once it’s out.
- Tap the meal card, Adjust, or the meal in Food.
- Change the portion, items or time in Edit meal, then tap Save.
- To take an item out, tap Tell Coachh what’s wrong and say so. Delete meal removes the whole meal.
Good to know
- Deleting a meal also takes it out of Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Fixing a meal from weeks ago changes that day’s totals.
- A meal pill in the chat opens Food on that meal’s day; tap the meal there to edit it.
